Georgia lawmakers regulate pain clinics

Georgia lawmakers recently approved a bill that will target unregulated pain management clinics in the state. Under the new law, pain clinics will have to be owned by physicians and licensed by the state's medical board. The bill defines pain clinics as practices where at least half of the patients are seeking chronic pain treatments.
